After listening to the comments of Professor Stacy about my essay, I have to say that I am very frustrated. I know she is right, she knows better than me what a good essay is. But I really don’t have any idea of how to fix it. She asks me to write a stronger thesis and to put more analysis in my sentences. Today I am going to email the writing center for help. I am going to use the email option for the first time because their schedule is not compatible with my working hours. I am very concern about my grade in this essay and I don’t know what to do. I hope at that at the end I would be able to have a great essay and a good grade.

Cindy, I love your graphics on this post!!! I guess because I feel the same way – frustrated. I, also, appreciate Professor Stacy’s comments on my essay. I, like you, will be utilizing The Writing Center because apparently I wrote the wrong essay! Oh well, that is why I am here…to learn (smile) I have used The Writing Center via email on a previous essay (because I do not live near Louisville) and they were loads of help to me. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

Cindy you are almost to the finish line don’t pull out all your hair before you get there! 😉 I am sure if you apply Professor Stacy’s comments and utilize the writing center you will do great and then have a super nice summer!

Cindy and Caroline I got frustrated some this semester too. It can be very frustrating trying to get things just right. I really hope the writing center helps and that you both get A’s! The finish line is just around the corner and I am sure you will both pull through. Just hang in there!
